As a master’s student in the department of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University (IU), I conducted a needs assessment project for the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) Health Center. Below is the detailed information about the needs assessment project, including my role and the "skills gained" sections.

A NEEDS ASSESSMENT OF INDIANA MEMORIAL UNION HEALTH CENTER

A needs assessment team, consisting of five graduate students, performed a needs assessment project for the IMU Heath Center of Indiana University in the fall semester of 2014.  The purpose of the needs assessment project was to determine what IMU Health Center employees needed to establish a strong collaboration with other campus entities to enhance student wellness.

The team members completed the project collaboratively. My main role included writing the final document, writing the interview questions and interviewing the IMU health center employees, analyzing the data, conducting the PEST and the SWOT analysis, and presenting the findings of the need assessment project. Finally, the data, collected throughout interviews and document analysis, were analyzed by the needs assessment team. Click on the pictures (on the left side) to see more about the needs assessment project.
