As a master's student in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University (IU), I gained the design and development skills by developing course materials for undergraduate students at Indiana University in the Fall semester of 2014. Below is the detailed information about the project, including my role and the "skills gained" sections.

DIGITAL NATIVE WEBQUEST

Three graduate students in Instructional Systems Technology at IU designed and developed this WebQuest for undergraduate students (pre-service teachers) in the Computer in Education course at IU in the Fall semester of 2014. The purpose of the course was to provide the pre-service teachers with skills and experiences in order to enable them to use technology effectively and appropriately in their teaching activities. During the class, the pre-service teachers were guided to achieve three goals, first to understand the characteristics of the Digital Natives -a generation of people who were born in the age of technology. Secondly to create an animated movie using GoAnimate to demonstrate their understanding of the Digital Natives, and finally to discuss appropriate instructional strategies for teaching them.
